Where do families stay at St. Jude?
The Ronald McDonald House serves St. Jude patients and families staying in Memphis for between eight days and three months based on availability. Guest rooms are furnished with wireless internet access, two double beds, television, bed and bath linens, and free laundry facilities.
Do children live at St. Jude’s?
Jude treats about 8,600 patients each year with 73 beds in operation and a license to go up to 80 beds. But our approach is different and has been since we opened the hospital. We believe a child should live as normal a childhood as possible, even when battling life-threatening diseases.
Do families pay at St. Jude?
All patients accepted for St. Jude treatment receive care whether or not they or their families can pay for it. St. Jude does have a billing system, but patients do not receive bills.
